Adaptive Testing Engine

The most significant technical advancement in this release is our adaptive testing engine. Rather than presenting every candidate with the same questions, MeritEdge dynamically adjusts question difficulty based on real-time performance:

1. Warm-up: The assessment begins with medium-difficulty questions to calibrate the candidate's level.
2. Adaptation: Based on response patterns, the system raises or lowers difficulty to find the candidate's true proficiency boundary.
3. Deep probe: For borderline cases, the system generates follow-up questions in the specific sub-domains where the candidate showed inconsistency.

This approach reduces assessment time by 40% while improving measurement precision by 25% compared to fixed-length tests.

Superlative Proctoring

Every assessment is monitored by our Superlative Proctoring system, which uses: - Browser lockdown to prevent tab switching - AI-powered gaze tracking to detect off-screen reference - Keystroke pattern analysis to identify potential impersonation - Environment audio monitoring for unauthorized assistance

The proctoring system has a 99.7% detection rate for assessment integrity violations, with a false-positive rate below 0.3%.
